Each camera brand has their own name for their version of lens stabilization. Fuji denotes all of the lenses that contain optical image stabilization with “OIS” in the lens model name. Below you’ll find the complete list of which Fuji lenses have OIS. Many of these lenses are found on my lists of the best Fujifilm X-mount lenses and G-mount lenses.
Fujinon XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR
Fujifilm improved the optical image stabilization of the Fujinon XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR compared to its predecessor by a whole stop. This lens offers vibration reduction up to 3.5 stops on bodies without in-body image stabilization, or up to 6.5 stops for IBIS cameras.

What I Didn't Like:
- Maximum aperture of f/4 can be limiting in some situations
Fujinon XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR
The Fujinon XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR is a standard zoom lens (and my top pick for the best lens overall for Fuji X bodies) that offers 6.0 stops of optical image stabilization. It also uses an ED aspherical lens as a OIS lens to help mitigate aberration fluctuation.
What I Liked:
- Excellent focal length range from wide angle to medium telephoto
- Optical image stabilization
- Weather sealing
What I Didn't Like:
- Maximum aperture isn't incredibly wide, but still fine in low light thanks to the OIS
Fujinon XF18-55mmF2.8 R LM OIS
The Fujinon XF18-55mmF2.8 R LM OIS is an incredible 'kit lens' that offers 4.0 stops of optical image stabilization to keep your shots steady when needed.
What I Liked:
- Versatile zoom range
- Excellent image quality
- Optical image stabilization
What I Didn't Like:
- Lens hood is quite large
- Max aperture isn't consistent through the zoom range
Fujinon XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR
When the Fujinon XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR was released, its optical image stabilization (OIS) was one of the world's most advanced. It gives you 5.0 stops of stabilization.
What I Liked:
- Versatile focal length range
- Optical image stabilization
- Weather-resistant construction
What I Didn't Like:
- Edge sharpness is weak
- Relatively expensive compared to alternatives
Fujinon XF50-140mmF2.8 R OIS WR
The Fujinon XF50-140mmF2.8 R OIS WR is my favorite telephoto lens for Fuji X-mount and delivers up to 6.0 stops of optical image stabilization depending on the camera body. This means at the 140mm end of the lens, you could use a shutter speed of 1/4 second. That's pretty insane.
What I Liked:
- Quality build as an XF Zoom red badge lens
- Excellent image quality
- Optical image stabilization and really good weather sealing
What I Didn't Like:
- It is rather heavy
- Relatively expensive
Fujinon XF55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS
The Fujinon XF55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS is a telephoto lens that offers up to 5.0 stops of image stabilization.
What I Liked:
- Solid build construction
- Sharp throughout entire zoom range
- Optical image stabilization
What I Didn't Like:
- Large and heavy
- Edge sharpness isn't always great

What I Liked:
- Ergonomic design

What I Didn't Like:
- Autofocus struggles with high contrast scenes
- Bokeh is a bit distracting

What I Liked:

What I Liked:

- Weather sealing for shooting in the outdoors
- Versatile focal length range for landscapes to portraits
What I Didn't Like:
- Noticeable vignetting at the wide end
- Large and heavy lens
Fujinon GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR
The Fujinon GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is a telephoto lens that offer up to 5.0 stops of image stabilization for photographers looking for the steadiest of shots.
What I Liked:
- Great image quality
- Optical image stabilization comes in handy for the longer focal lengths
- Weather sealing for shooting in most weather conditions
What I Didn't Like:
- Max aperture of f/5.6 can be limiting
- Limited focal length range

What I Liked:

The Fujinon GF250mmF4 R LM OIS WR is a beast of a telephoto lens. At 250mm, camera shake becomes apparent easily, so the lens fortunately has up to 5.0 stops of vibration reduction.
What I Liked:
- Fast and accurate autofocus
- High-quality construction with weather resistance
- Optical image stabilization rated up to 5 stops
What I Didn't Like:
- Large and pretty darn heavy
- Very expensive
Fujinon XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ
The Fujinon XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is the smallest and lightest zoom lens available for the Fujifilm X series. It has an electric zoom with up to 3.0 stops of image stabilization.
What I Liked:
- Compact, retracting design
- Smooth, precise zooming
- Strong sharpness at the center with minimal distortion
What I Didn't Like:
- Limited, variable aperture range
- Plastic build
- No aperture ring for easy manual adjustments
Fujinon XC50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS II
The Fujinon XC50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS II is a compact telephoto zoom lens offering about 3.5 stops of image stabilization.
What I Liked:
- Great telephoto focal length range
- Decent sharpness for its price point with minimal distortion
- Optical image stabilization
- Lightweight
What I Didn't Like:
- Narrow aperture which gets smaller toward the telephoto end
- Plastic build with no aperture control ring
- Slow autofocus
